i burn the shns and flacs to dvd's as data. then i transfer the folders onto my external hard drive, then delete them on my laptop. i haven't actually burned any audio discs yet. i want to use an external burner to burn those. still have to go get one.

External Hard Drive is the way to go. I have two external 500G hard drives, two 160G ipods and a couple of hundred CD-R 320 compression mp3s. I use apple lossless compression on the ipods which are smaller than flac or shorten files. This way everything is backed up at least twice. Stick with the external hard drives though and once the blue-ray disks become cheaper they may become a useful alternative. I am also starting to carry around an 8G memory stick. I have also installed an ipod connection to my car stereo in the aux port. ( I almost crashed the first day I had it in as i was flipping through the shows.) This means no more disks. They are strickly for back-up.

Hello buddy,

Just one question --

How do you burn a FLAC show as DATA on the DVD?
